A simple little live edge wood shelf made from salvaged ash wood. This is a great piece for displaying a potted plant. The live edge bottom shows the intricate channels made by the burrowing of the emerald ash borer, the insect responsible for the demise of so many of the ash trees. This shelf has a raw, earthy look with the rusticity of the wood and natural hemp twine. Hang it in any space to bring a little of the outdoors in.
Handcrafted on our family farm in southern Ohio from sustainably harvested, standing dead, ash. Sanded smooth and coated in an all-natural oil and beeswax finish.
