Sunshine & Turquoise - Rustic Black Clay Splatter Pot

This black clay pot has a rustic-contemporary appeal.  The bottom portion of the pot is unglazed for a roughly textured surface, while the top portion has been brightly painted.  This piece would serve nicely as a planter or a decorative catch-all bowl. The raw clay portion has been left unsanded so small scratches, canvas markings, etc., can be seen. Please note that though the inside of the piece is glazed, if used as a planter it will act similarly to a terracotta clay pot and be semi-porous.

*Each decorative piece is completely original. The design detail is hand drawn by the artist on the raw clay body and then painted using fine-tipped brushes and small needles to drag the glaze to create precision in each design.  We never use ceramic decals or transfers, so what you receive is truly handmade and unique!
