This is an especially neat piece of sassafras with its scar marks from wood boring grubs. The distressed look to this shelf gives it a lot of character and unique coloration. We used patience, a pick, and a small chisel to clean the bore marks in the wood and give it a clean, yet rustic, appearance. This would look great in a zen-like, minimalist space where it could really make a statement, and bring the outside in.
Shelf- 36" long x 7 1/4" deep x 7/8" thick
Brackets- 5 1/8 long x 5/8" wide
We offer iron brackets in two color variations, rust or powder coated black. Please note the rust brackets do have a coating, but are actually rusty.
