This unique coat rack is made from salvaged ash wood. It has a lovely natural edge with distinctive markings left by the burrowing of the emerald ash borer - the insect responsible for the death of so many of the ash trees in our region. The live edge shelf displays beautiful markings, and is sturdily attached using a hybridized form of mortise and tenon joinery. Two old-fashioned cast iron hooks hang which have been coated in a high-quality paint to prevent any rust from occurring shall they get wet. This piece mounts securely to the wall via three keyhole pockets at back spaced at 16" for ease of installation.
Measures 47-1/4" long x 8" high
Shelf - at back = 12-1/2" across; 7" deep
