Brazilwood Plant-Dyed Yarn - Worsted Wool Yarn (40 Merino 60 Romney) 2 ply - 4 oz skeins

Our farm-grown natural colored Worsted yarn is spun from sheep we've raised using organic methods and hand-dyed in small batches. Each skein is minimally processed at a regional mill and washed in a fragrance-free, biodegradable detergent. 

This yarn has been dyed with the salvaged wood shavings from the Brazilwood tree. The shavings were saved by a violin maker from Ohio and gifted to us to put them to use as a dyestuff. We hope you enjoy the warm color this tree has to offer from its heartwood. Please know that Brazilwood is an endangered species and that we do not advocate for its use in any application.
